A: While we are flexible in creating investment opportunities for our clients, each real estate development is typically purchased by an LLC set up by Ashford Capital Partners.
Our investors are offered a fixed preferred rate of return when the transaction is complete, and split the remaining profits with Ashford Capital Partners.
Q: Can I invest capital from my IRA?
A: Absolutely! We have developed relationships with a handful of custodians who are able to make an investment in our opportunities using your IRA capital. Investing in our programs through an IRA is one of the most tax efficient ways to participate in attractive real estate opportunities.

A: Most definitely… Since many developers have been under duress, and have had limited access to capital, real estate prices are at historic lows.

At some point these exceptional opportunities will be taken and the market will return to a more normal state. Today is definitely the most attractive period I have seen in terms of potential gains for investors.
Q: What about when the market recovers? Will Investors still have opportunities?
A: Recovery typically takes place gradually, with different areas experiencing more robust growth than others. So as the overall picture improves, we will have different opportunity sets as the recovery evolves.
An improving market means that investors in today’s deals will see a sharp increase in profits. It may make future deals pale in comparison to the returns we should realize over the next several quarters.
